Characters are the heart of books for me, so, as usual at this time every year, it's time for me to talk about my favorites! The way authors can create entirely new people and make them feel real is always incredible, but there are some characters that stand out more than others, whether it's because they're so relatable or unique or interesting or sweet, and these are my favorites (which may...
I'll start this post by getting the bad news out of the way. My face muscle/headache problem is still not better. I'm still waiting for a neurology appointment, but they're probably not going to find anything. So I don't know what's going to happen with my problem, and I don't know what's going to happen with my...
I know everyone says this sort of thing every month, but I can't believe it's already (or almost, depending on when you see this) October! Anyway, there are still some amazing-sounding books coming out in the next month, plus a few from September that I missed last time, so here they...
The Bastards have been dealt a harsh blow, and Fetching is left to clean up the mess as things only seem to go from bad to worse to even worse. She and her people are being attacked on all sides---figuratively and sometimes literally---but her hoof brothers are still by her side, even if their numbers are dwindling, and she's going to find a way to save her people or die...
I've already shared with you all my favorite covers and favorite characters from books I read in 2018, so that means... it's finally time to share my favorite books! I don't know why I keep calling these posts "Top Ten" when I never manage to stop at just ten. My blog is just full of lies. It sounds good as a post title though, you know? Anyway, I'm excited, as I always am for this post, because...
Jackal is a member of the Grey Bastards, a brotherhood of half-orcs who protect the Lot Lands from orcs, centaurs, and anything else that might attack. But then a half-orc wizard shows up, the chief starts making questionable decisions, and Jackal realizes everything is not as he always thought it was. As mysteries start unraveling, Jackal will have to figure out what his priorities are and who...
Wow, that title was a mouthful! Next year I plan on sticking to two months at a time, but I started on an even month this year, so I'm making do. Anyway, here are some June/July/August 2018 releases that sound fantastic. I'm very grateful to have actually gotten ARCs for most of these, so this includes some books I haven't read and am looking forward to myself as well as some that I've already...
Good news! The great bookish year continues! Also, my wi-fi started working again, but then it acted up today (Saturday), but now it's working again, so hopefully it'll just keep working right. I also have Netflix now thanks to my grandparents! I watched Zootopia and Finding Dory. Both were cute, and Baby Dory was the cutest thing I've ever seen!!! Not much to report other than that....
