Could I have been more specific with this topic?
Eh, probably ;-P
Seriously though, there are a lot of book covers with artistic and gorgeous silhouettes of wolves! It’s a thing. A good thing though! And it would be a shame not to take advantage of it by sharing. So here are some amazing wolf silhouette covers I’ve found!
My favorite of the bunch has to be Pack because it’s just so artistic and cool, and I love how it includes an image of the small town setting within the silhouette and uses the moon as the wolf’s eye. The colors and art style are great. I love everything about it.
Boneless Mercies is similar with how it shows a setting within the silhouette and uses the moon for the eye, so that’s cool too.
The Girl in Red is a close second because it’s just a great design, plus I love the color red.
The Wolf Wilder is another with just a beautiful design overall, and I love the colors. Plus, it has two wolf silhouettes 😛
Anyway, I don’t think I need to go into detailed thoughts for each of these, but they’ve all got such great style and art, I love how unique they are, and I just love looking at ’em!
Wolf silhouettes- nice! I love silhouettes in general I think. The Girl in Red is probably my favorite, including the other cover I’ve seen for it. I like how this one’s howling though. But actually I might like the Red Riding Hood one more- again with the howling thing, but also the white background and she’s got that orange-y thing going. Yeah- that’s my fave. And then maybe Boneless Mercies- but ooh Where the Waters Turn Black has a volcano!
Silhouettes can be very nice. The other Girl in Red is nice too, but it’s the silhouette covers for her books that I really love (the other one wasn’t technically a silhouette). Yeah, the white background really makes that Red Riding Hood one pop. Lol they’re just all good!
Haha, that is oddly specific! But these covers are really cool. I think I like Where The Waters Turn Black the best because it looks like a wood carving.
Lol but I still managed to find ten! Oh you’re right, that is what it looks like!
Wolves gets extra points for the whole picture in the picture thing, like those cool “what do you see” pictures I love so much. Red Riding Hood and The Wolf Wilder are the other two standouts for me.
Oh, hah, I didn’t even notice the person until you said that! That does make it even better.
Oh wow, I had never noticed how many wolf covers there really are. Those are all gorgeous too. I think my favorite is the one for The Girl in Red but I love the one you picked too.
So many! Lol. I do love The Girl in Red cover.
Love these! My favorites are The Curse of Hurlig Ridge, The Mere Wife and The Pack. I didn’t realize there were so many!
It is surprising how many wolf silhouette covers there are lol.
Ooh – I really love Pack, World Tree Online and Riding Hood.
I love wolves but the silhouettes kind of set a tone.

They’re all so pretty! And yeah, somehow wolf silhouettes are a completely different look from just regular wolves.
What a great collection of covers! My favorite is The Girl in Red. I love the silhouette within the silhouette <3
Thanks! I love that too!
Boneless Mercies will always be one of my all time favorite book covers 🙂 Awesome collection
It’s so pretty!
I’ve always loved the Wolf by Wolf cover. It’s a great book for one thing, but cover wise, I like that the wolf is a shadow. Boneless Mercies has a cool cover too.

I haven’t read the book, but the cover is definitely great!
Oh I see many books I love here! because, you know me… TEAM WOLF! (they don’t sparkle and have waaaaay better abs LOL) I have an ARC of the Girl in Red and cannot wait to read it! Also Wolf by Wolf is one of the BEST books I have ever read! I’ll have to check the other ones now! because… TEAM WOLF! 🙂
Lol blasphemy! You come to my blog, and you speak blasphemy! Hopefully The Girl in Red will be good because I plan to read that one too!
Who knew there were so many wolf silhouette covers? And I’ve even read one and recognise a couple of others! I do agree Pack is visually so good to look at. I do like Wolf by Wolf and how it links with the story of the book with the cover though. And Wolf Wilder! That cover has always pulled me towards that book.
Right?? It’s great when the cover matches the book super well, that’s how I feel about Pack too (that’s the only one on the list that I’ve read).
I think you were specfic enough! And even if not, we get the gist from the covers 😉 If that is the Red Riding Hood I think it is, I have read that one! And I watched the movie as well and really liked it. I want to read Wolf by Wolf 🙂
😛 I’ve seen the movie but pretty much forgotten, so I’d really like to read the book!
Have to agree with you that this is a trend I can stand behind. Love all these covers! And Wolf by Wolf is a fantastic book to go along with that awesome cover. 🙂
Right?! They’re great! Good to know the book itself is good too!
